Habitat for Humanity of Waldo County (HFHWC)
We are an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International. Through partnerships with caring individuals, local companies, civic organizations and partner families, we build safe, decent, affordable housing, providing homeownership opportunities to low-income families in Waldo County, Maine. We do not consider race, color, national origin, religion, sex, marital status, age, source of income or sexual orientation in selecting partner families.
Established as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) we are hard at work on our 1st home. We invite you to join us as a volunteer, contributor, or partner family today!
Our Goal
To work in cooperation with the vision and principles of Habitat for Humanity International to end poverty housing in Waldo County, Maine, and to enable an expanding number of persons from all walks of life to participate in this effort.
